Raison D'etre
The cartoons posted on Sequential Life started out as daily missives to an absent girlfriend. She periodically travels to conferences, embarks on expeditions or visits with out of state relatives, sometimes for weeks. These cartoons started out as a kind of daily postcard, conveying the day-to-day happenings in the home while she was gone.
Most of the cartoons involved the cats. They're the easiest targets, so don't think I'm a Cat Fancy-buying shut-in... okay, I bought that one issue, but it had an important article on nutrition and... nevermind.
Posted here are the ones I thought safe for public consumption (meaning any stranger could appreciate them... get your mind out of the gutter). I've also culled some from the last summer (2005). Turns out that I enjoy this kind of thing and, hopefully, I'll keep this up after she gets back this time.
I hope you enjoy it as well.
[EDIT] For the most part, I've managed to keep this going well after being reunited with my sweetie. From the looks of things, I've acquired a few regular readers (Hi, Sam!) here and there, so my enthusiasm for making these things has only increased. The cats show up less frequently, and that may be for the best as the fame went to their heads a bit.
